Accommodation
Several categories of accommodation have been reserved for delegates:
Hotel
Single (SGL): A single occupancy room with one bed
Double (DBL): A double occupancy room with one bed
Twin (TWN): A double occupancy room with two beds
Crowne Plaza Executive Club (Official Hotel): Guests staying in the Executive Club Rooms enjoy the exclusive use of the Club Lounge that offers daily club breakfast, evening drinks and canapés, extra bedroom amenities and a place to relax, meet and work.
Hilton Executive Floor: Guests staying in Hilton Executive floor rooms enjoy the use of the hotel’s exclusive Executive Lounge, which offers you a place to relax, meet or find business support, express check-in and check-out, complimentary afternoon tea, evening drinks and canapés and breakfast the following morning.
Apartment
Studio Room: A Studio with 1 double bed. Combined bedroom and living area.
1 Bedroom Apartment: An apartment with 1 double bed.
2 Bedroom Apartment: Either 1 double and 2 single beds or 2 double beds

Crowne Plaza Darling Harbour - Official Hotel
Crowne Plaza Darling Harbour is perfectly located on the city side of Darling Harbour. Not only are we on the fringe of the CBD, we are within walking distance to the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre and many of Sydney's best tourist attractions.
The Hotel boasts spacious rooms all with 24-hour room service, STD/ISD telephone with voicemail, radio/remote control plasma TV, in-house movies, cable channels available, coffee/tea making facilities, mini-bar, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, bath and shower and individually controlled air-conditioning. The Hotel is a smoke free property.
Delegates and Exhibitors who stay at the Hotel will also receive one complimentary A$10.00 telephone card per person per stay. This will include any local, STD and ISD telephone calls. This telephone card is non transferable and non refundable.
Group Bookings / Non-listed Hotels
If your organisation would like to make a group booking or place group accommodation at hotels not listed in this brochure, the Congress Managers can secure rooms and negotiate group rates on your behalf with the hotel of your choice. With a large network of hotel contacts our experienced staff are able to ensure all your needs are met and your booking is managed efficiently.

Rates and Reward Programs
Accommodation held by the Congress Managers has been secured at highly competitive rates for delegates. In addition, delegates who are members of the listed reward programs can earn points by staying at the corresponding hotel. Members should provide their membership card to Reception when checking into the hotel.
Deposit
Rooms are being held by the Congress Managers on behalf of the delegates until 9 April 2009. All hotel accommodation bookings must be accompanied by a minimum one night’s room rate or credit card details in order to secure a reservation. The Congress Managers will accept accommodation deposits up until 9 April 2009 and will settle the deposit with the hotel. Delegates must settle the balance of their account with the hotel concerned upon check-out.
Late bookings can be made through the Congress Managers after 9 April 2009 but are subject to availability and credit card details are required to secure the reservation. One night’s room rate will be deducted from the supplied card, by the hotel, if the reservation is cancelled or the delegate fails to arrive on the specified date.
How To Book Accommodation
To book, complete the Online Registration Form on this website. The Congress Managers will forward your contact details, reservation and deposit or credit card details to the hotel of your choice.
Change of Booking
Any change to a reservation must be notified to the Congress Managers and not directly to the hotel. Please note that any changes should be made to the Congress Managers by 28 April 2009. Cancellations must be made in writing.
Late Arrivals
Please indicate on your registration form or notify the Congress Managers in writing if you will arrive at your hotel after 6.00pm hours, failure to do so may mean that your room will be released.
Check-in and Check-out Times
For most hotels, check-in time is 3.00pm and check-out time is 11.00am. Should you wish to guarantee check-in before 3.00pm you will need to pre-book, and pay for the previous night. If you wish to guarantee a late check-out you will need to book for the next night. These additional nights can be booked at the time of making your reservation. If required please indicate on your registration form.
Hotel Check-in Procedures
As per standard hotel policies and procedures delegates will be required to provide a credit card or full cash payment upon check-in. This is to cover any incidental charges incurred during your stay and all remaining unpaid room nights, regardless if your booking was guaranteed by a deposit to secure your booking.
The hotel will hold on your credit card, until point of check-out, all unpaid accommodation nights reserved plus a daily amount for incidental charges. If you will be settling your accommodation account by cash you will be asked to pre pay for your accommodation in full plus a cash deposit for incidentals. Should you not utilize any incidentals during your stay the cash deposit, for incidentals only, will be refunded to you by the hotel upon check-out.
Please note the daily incidental charge may vary across the listed hotels. Should you wish to confirm the amount that will be held against your card prior to check-in, please contact the hotel directly.
Accommodation Refunds
The deposit is non-refundable at 9 April 2009 and will be forfeited if you do not arrive on the date for which you have booked. Cancellations must be made in writing.
