College Reception

An invitation is extended to all delegates, Graduating Fellows and their guests to attend the College Ceremony and Reception.

New Fellows’ Dinner
Time: 7.30 pm – 12.00 (midnight)
Location: Bellarine Rooms, Melbourne Exhibition & Convention Centre

To welcome new Fellows to the College, all Fellows being presented at the College Ceremony in 2007 are cordially invited to attend the New Fellows Dinner immediately following the College Ceremony and Reception. All Fellows being presented at the Ceremony will receive a personal invitation.

Trainees’ Dinner

All Trainees are invited to attend the Trainees' Dinner and enjoy an evening of socialising with colleagues in the lush surrounds of the Bluestone Restaurant Bar.

Bluestone is located on Flinders Lane between Queen and Elizabeth Streets in the heart of Melbourne, featuring bluestone walls, warm colours, soft lighting, Chesterfield chairs, banquettes and ottomans, this bar provides luxurious lounging and a relaxed but funky atmosphere.

The evening will commence with pre-dinner drinks served in the lounge followed by a three-course meal and is sure to be a night to remember.

Joint Chapter of Community Child Health/Regional and General Paediatric Society Dinner

Back by popular demand! The joint Chapter of Community Child Health/Regional and General Paediatric Society dinner will again be held as part of the Congress social program, this year at The Meat + Wine Co. (Vegetarian options will be made available.) Come and enjoy a casual, fun-filled evening on the banks of Melbourne's famous Yarra River. Mingle with colleagues from near and far.

The annual Adult Medicine Division Dinner will be held on Tuesday, 8 May as part of the RACP 2007 Congress. This Dinner will be held in the Clarendon Room at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre. Paediatrics & Child Health Division's Annual Dinner

This year's dinner is guaranteed to bring you up-close-and-personal with the creatures of the deep. Enjoy pre-dinner drinks and a three-course meal with a colourful backdrop of fish, coral and the Melbourne skyline. The evening will allow plenty of time for stimulating conversation and an opportunity to catch-up with old, and hopefully some new friends.

What more could you want? Dancing of course! As always, a DJ will help you dance the night away. So polish up your dancing shoes and start practising the Rock Lobster!

Should you have any specialised group requirements for private touring, transportation or hospitality services other than those organised for the official program, please contact the Congress Managers who would be pleased to assist with touring or hospitality arrangements.

Private Functions

It is requested that you advise the Congress Managers of any private/corporate functions that might be planned outside of the official program. The Congress Managers would be pleased to assist with arrangements for any of these events.
