Abstract and Clinical Case Submissions

Abstract Submissions for the Paediatrics & Child Health annual meeting program have closed

The Adult Medicine Program Steering Committee invites the submission of:

• Clinical cases for presentation by advanced trainees in The Best of Grand Rounds sessions at the Adult Medicine scientific program; and
• Abstracts for consideration for poster presentation.

Please note that case presenters and presenting authors must be registrants at the Congress. For information on submission of cases for presentation, please refer to the Case Presentations.

Adult Medicine Fellows and Trainees are invited to display posters during the Congress. Posters which have been displayed at other meetings are not precluded from the College meeting. All Adult Medicine posters will be set up for viewing during the Adult Medicine Scientific Program on 8 - 9 May 2007. Two poster sessions are scheduled for 1 - 2pm on each day.

Invited Presenters Please note that all invited presenters are required to follow the abstract submission instructions below to submit their abstracts – please use the supplied template on this webpage and submit your abstract using the online form.

Abstract Submission Instructions

Please read through the submission instructions listed below before preparing your abstract.

Step 1: Read the General Policies and Requirements for the submission of abstracts.
Step 2 Write your abstract following the Abstract Submission Guidelines.
Step 3: Download template and insert/add your abstract text. Save as a WORD document to your computer (Abstracts must not exceed 300 words, including references).
Step 4: For Adult Medicine Poster Presentations, click on the button below to complete the Abstract Submission Form. It will be necessary to attach/upload the WORD copy of your abstract.
For the submission of Adult Medicine Clinical Case Presentations please refer to the Case Presentations.
- Please print a copy of the abstract submission form for your records prior to clicking the ‘upload’ button.

Abstracts will be published as submitted – therefore, all submissions must conform to the Abstract Format Guidelines.

Accepted abstracts will be published in the Congress proceedings. The Congress Managers will not be held responsible for abstract submissions not received via the website or for submission errors caused by Internet service outages, hardware or software delays, power outages or unforeseen events.
